Alicia’s Story…

If I knew yesterday what I know today, I would have relieved myself of my own suffering sooner. But you don’t know what you don’t know, right? That wasn’t my path in life until now. The good news is when I finally became ready and truly open to making positive changes in my life, that is when everything shifted in my life.

Ten years ago, I suffered a life-threatening illness while out of the country and found that conventional treatment was not providing all I needed to regain my health and wellbeing. With so many gastro-intestinal issues, sleep disruptions, unspecified anaphylactic allergic events, weight gain, and strong feelings of sadness; I was simply miserable.  Not only was my physical health significantly impacted, but I was also suffering emotionally.  It never occurred to me that the state of my physical body was impacting my emotional wellbeing and vice versa!

Like many people, I used to think sickness and disease were a normal part of the human condition- as this is what happens as you age, right?  But when I finally understood my body, mind, and spirit were a reflectionof my habits and state of mind, that was the moment when I became empowered to take control of my wellbeing and understand my Whole Health Connection.
